Changing or replacing the lock requires physically removing the hardware and putting on new, shiny locks right out of the box. Rekeying is a more affordable, cost-effective way to change the locks where we remove the functional hardware, and replace the lock's inner working pins so that the old key will no longer work and you will get a new key.
